Stayed at Best Western in the month of January and staff and customer service is still excellent. However, hotel is under new management and beware. I have used Best Western for business when in the area. I have a pet and left the room in a hurry and didn’t vacuum. First problem I never received a final bill and this week checked my credit and was charged an additional $50.00 per the District Manager. Spoke with General Manager and she stated per the District Manager the carpet needed to cleaned. The carpet wasn’t dirty if anything it may have been cleaner because the litter picks up dust. I had a reduced rate suspect the new management wanted increase monies for their own pockets. Buyer beware. Carpet should be cleaned after each pet visit otherwise floors and etc could contain fleas and ticks. Secondly, I was charged an additional fee for my pet. Why wasn’t pet fee applied cleaning the carpet.

This place is way over priced for what you get .. well that’s fine but then we enter our room , it smells like wet laundry and stale cigarettes. Ok ok again fine it’s an older hotel . As walking in I stumble over old dog food on the carpet … again fine we have dogs and stay in dog rooms but then entering the bathroom I find lower region hairs and left over wet tissue on the counter not happy about that ewwwww!!! We leave and come back, I sit in the reading chair and something crinkles so I look over and there is a butter top stuck to the side of the chair again yucky ! But I think the worst thing for me was the placement of the wall art !! I guess they thought it made the room look bigger … don’t know but yikes .. We tried to get a refund and move hotels and were denied . Mind you this costs just as much as the nice hotel down the road . So my advice is avoid this hotel they need to fire the maid and room designer … if it was a clean room things would have been different for me , just spiraled from there .

We had a pet friendly room not sure what they cleaned with but the odor was over whelming luckily we were traveling we frebreeze to mask odors. The bed had the springs broken or ? At first we couldn’t figure out the noise. With every turn the springs made a terrible noise. The next day when we were leaving I had cleaning person come in to hear it. The large mirror had broken pieces off it. The floors were filthy. It was not a good experience and we paid too much for that nightmare stay.

We had a reservation but when we pulled up I wanted to see the room. The front desk asked me why I wanted to see the room. By the looks of the hotel I would call it a motel. This property doesn't fit the Best Western standards. The room was old and had a smell. Only thing that could be called updated is the comforter on the beds. Needless to say we left.

The manager and staff are good people who will do their best to make the stay comfortable. Unfortunately the great prices attract a certain type of crowd and it can get loud and rowdy with people partying at night. The maids do their best with the rooms but many have been smoked in. I bring earplugs and my stats are mostly positive. I travel for school.

The employees are so friendly, nice, and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and the decor was pleasant. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. The hot breakfast choices were varied, and the make-your-own waffle was delicious. We appreciated the variety of toppings for the waffles. The fruit infused ice water, coffee, and pillow mints in the lobby were a nice touch. It is located within walking distance of many eating places. We enjoyed the "old fashioned" hospitality. We will be back!

My family and I have stayed here many nights for years. We used to love this hotel and it’s the only hotel we stay in when we come to California. We come very often too. Recently though, this hotel has completely gone down in everything. To start, the service isn’t the greatest. There are two front desk men that are very sweet and help always. But when it comes to housekeeping, they don’t clean the rooms. I stayed for 3 nights and could not get the room cleaned. I left the “please clean this room” sign on the door knob and even asked the front desk both mornings and the nights before if I could get my room cleaned. My room was skipped on both times. When on vacation I want to be able to relax and not have to clean my own room, it’s ridiculous. Also, the breakfast honestly isn’t as good as it used to be. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the trying to save money. But there are a lot of things that were great that they took out. Also, they take forever to restock any products or food. Honestly, after this most recent experience I cannot say that I will be coming back even though it is a hotel I dearly liked.
