This place was really very lackluster and felt like a waste of money even for our "just need a bed" stay. Arrived at about 6:30pm and waited several minutes and rang the bell multiple times before someone finally came to the front desk for check-in. It was a bit uncomfortable to wonder about the overall safety if the desk is left completely unattended for that length of time. Definitely would not recommend the pool/hot tub area. It was clear from photos that it was small, but the actual size was still surprising. More though, it was very run down looking. Pool was freezing! And at the same time, the hot tub was so hot when the jets were on that it burned me. The room itself was clean and furniture was in decent shape. It also was quite small, though, and I could see how that would have been an issue if we were there for more than one night. Breakfast is served until 9am. When we went down at around 8:15, most of the tables were in desperate need of a good wipe down, and most items hadn't been replenished. The syrup container was broken in a way that made it difficult to pour without it making a big mess - and had been left to just become a gross, sticky mess. All of the juices in the dispenser were just putting out water, and my child was told it was too close to ending breakfast for them to refill them. The breakfast area is also very worn out and tired and generally needs some TLC. We also were forced to listen to the phone ring constantly for more than 10 minutes while trying to "enjoy" our breakfast. The person at the from desk didn't seem to be busy with anything but left the phone to ring and ring unanswered over and over several times while we were eating.

If youre in Vacaville stay at the Comfort Suites on Lawrence Dr. Clean and well maintained. The stay was quiet and comfortable. Front desk is super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is great. Home away from home!

The Bed was comfortable!! The pool was relaxing and the hot tub could’ve been warmer but over all we will be back.

Will never stay here again! First off we stayed one night. Put down a $200 cash deposit. Which is $100 more than we usually have to put down. The room was $113 dollars the key card had to be redone 4 times cause the back door wouldn't work. We got the room here specifically to enjoy the spa. To our dismay it was a whopping 80 degrees. We ended up not even going in due to it only being a tad bit warmer than the pool. Breakfast started at 6 we got down there at 6:45 hoping to have a nice breakfast but instead what we found was all the cereal was gone, the coffee and milk were in small thermos style containers and the coffee was not only not warm but there was no way for it to be kept warm. The eggs and sausage were also cold and I'm pretty the eggs were powdered. I took 2 pieces of sausage and two eggs back to the room 1 of each for me and a treat of one of each for my dog. Before I ate them I set my dog's plate down for him to eat because I knew he was hungry having had an early dinner the previous evening , he sniffed his plate and walked away. Needless to say my plate went in the trash as well. Upon check out we were informed that we would be charged a $15 fee due to a wash cloth having a stain on it. I asked the lady at the front desk how did they know it was a stain when the towel in question hadn't even been through the wash yet to determine if it was actually stained?! At that point we just decided we would never stay here again. We pulled away and was looking over the receipt that was provided to us and I checked my venmo account and discovered that my venmo was charged $216 for a $113 room! It took 35 min to get checked out already and now running behind schedule already we had to go back and figure out why my card was overcharged! The lady at the front desk informed me that her coworker had checked us in wrong and that I would have to wait 5 to 10 business days for my account to be refunded. I explained that I shouldn't have to wait for my money because of an employees mistake her reply was for me to call the manager on Tuesday this was on a Saturday. I told her that she already admitted that the error was their fault and there should be no reason that prevents her from going in the register and giving me my $100 back right now. She said she was not allowed to do that. I asked to speak with her manager and she said her manager wouldn't be back until Tues I then asked her if she could reach her by phone and she said she could not. At this point I decided to reach out to choice hotels their corporate office. The corporate office proceeded to give me the same run around that the front office did. I will be reaching out to the manager on Tuesday to get this straightened out.....gone are the days of decent customer customers I recommend motel 6 next door before I would recommend this establishment. I also have every intention of asking what magical power their cleaning staff has that can determine a stain before it's even been washed.

I sent my mother here for the weekend and paid over $300 for her to tell me that there were ROACHES and rude lady at the front desk... they wouldn't give her an extra blanket and when she asked for extra towels it was towel for towel and something was wrong with the batter to make the waffles in the morning ... she got sick from yals breakfast and was throwing up.... I would never send my worst enemy there.... how dare you guys do that to her.... she just turn 63 and you were rude.. would you treat your mother that way..... I wish yal would have GAVE ME BACK MY MONEY

Meh. Not impressed in the slightest. Especially when factoring in the price they charge! Was there with a friend and they did not like the indoor pool. They said it felt slimy and smelled gross. I thought the pool and the room could use an update with fresh paint and such. The room was adequate for my friends needs. They highly recommend the room with the separate room for the jacuzzi which also features a fireplace. That particular room was cool for having the jacuzzi and fireplace, but that was it. There was nothing else in the room. The walls were stark and empty. Not welcoming nor romantic in any way. The free breakfast was mediocre at best. It did feature eggs and what looked like an undercooked sausage patty (I know they just heat and serve the items as the food is precooked), 2 or 3 types of cereal and milk, waffle maker WITH butter and syrup, (ahem, Super 8) pastries and bagels and cream cheese, coffee and juice. I just thought at the prices they charge, they would take much more interest in providing an outstanding breakfast. By the way, their neighbor next door does it right even with most of it being heat’n’serve!! The Front desk girls, looked like one was training the other, so apparently while that goes on, customer service is out the window. Would have expected a warm greeting for the price paid at the hotel. Neither girl has any personality or care for customer service. I won’t be booking here, there are better options at cheaper rates!

Had a great stay here for a night. Beds and pillows were comfy. Place was clean, quiet and the ambience was captivating. Everything was fine, the usual.

Great front desk help, Mathew was super friendly and helpful. Room was perfect, fresh linens, very clean bathroom and the towels were even folded with designs. Place felt really up to date and safe. This place cares and the staff cares. Breakfast was good enough and the coffee was great. So happy we booked here, your employees really shine! Would definetly stay here again and the whole family was very satisfied. Wish we had our bathing suits, pool and hot tub looked so inviting. Thanks Comfort Inn Vacaville!
